A Big Step Toward Freedom 24. Oktober 2024
Today is a special day. We've received the purchase price for Michael's parents' house. It's a wonderful feeling — not just because of the money, but especially because of what it represents: One chapter closes, and we can finally look ahead with lightness in our hearts.
With this money, we can now settle everything that's still pending. It feels like a liberation. No more ballast holding us back. Only space for what comes next.
Peter and Susanne continue to stand by us with all their hearts. Their support means so much to us — they carry us through this transition with their strength and warmth.
Now they can also hand over the keys to the new owners. In the contract, we've arranged that we have access to one room until the end of the year, where some of our last belongings are stored. But we don't want to wait that long.
The plan is set: In early November, when Peter's birthday comes around, we want to clear everything out and store it in Eugen's barn. Will everything go as smoothly as we hope? I'm curious. But today, the good feeling wins out. Things are moving forward.
